"Fall concerns"
My experience has not been great. I have experienced approximately 5 falls while residing their. My family have requested that I be checked on every 30 minutes rather than every hour but the manager explained that this would not be possible at night with 2 staff to 27 residents. My family are also very concerned that I can access stairs and are fearful that a fall on the stairs could be very serious. My family feel that communication between staff and family members could be improved on. There are also concerns about how I am given my medication. I am being given them in drinks and the hospital have told my daughter that this should not be happening because the medication may not work as well as there is no guarantee that I am getting the full dose or that it will work as it should be. General care and the food is okay.
